At around 7pm EST on Wednesday, dozens of major media outlets and sites (YouTube, Twitter, Google, Facebook...the list goes on) went dark, losing server connections on a global scale. About an hour a half later, many of the sites began to function again, and no explanation has been provided as of yet...
